Unfortunately, it was the first time we had a negative experience with Crete. It took 20 minutes before we could even order drinks and food (although there were enough waiters walking around) and the tables were only moderately busy, then it took a long time for the food to arrive. The side dishes of the food (french fries and tomato rice) let ANY salt or other seasoning miss. The meat was good. Last but not least, the service was friendly, but in no way attentive. Empty glasses were ignored and no further requests were asked for. The bill took a long time again, although the restaurant was now almost empty. A total of 1 3/4 hours was too long! Hopefully you will do better next time

The food is okay, the portions are huge. But it is a pity that you cannot reach the restaurant by phone! I already have 12! Times tried! The dial tone always sounds, but nobody picks up! It's a shame, because you can only order takeaway food due to Corona. We would be happy to support the local restaurants if only someone answered the phone 😡 We are now ordering elsewhere!

Unfortunately, we haven't had a good experience. We were allowed to wait in the entrance area for what felt like an eternity. No greeting, no eye contact, nothing. When we finally got a table at the counter, it felt like being in a train station hall. The staff walked past you stressed, the kitchen bell rang every minute. Not a cozy atmosphere as you know it from a Greek. The food was okay though. When I managed to stop a waitress and ask for salt and pepper, two bags were thrown on the table as I passed. Honestly, that doesn't work.

Great location. View of the beach, seagulls and water. This is the right place for those who love large portions and prefer rustic dishes. Lots of meat and a lot of coleslaw. A typical Greek restaurant in Germany. Service was okay. We cannot confirm that you have to wait forever, except for waiting to pay.

A very nice location, top location ... right on the beach. A wonderful view of the Eckernförde Bay. So, definitely book a window seat. The restaurant is spacious, handicapped accessible and very bright and friendly. The portions are gigantic, so really, really big 😳 and the tsaziki just as fresh and generous as the homemade coleslaw. Everything tastes delicious and freshly made. The prices are good, an average of 17, - and you can take some things home with you, you can't The staff take their time at times, but are friendly and polite. A very good hygiene concept with a plexiglass pane to the neighboring tables, disinfectants and clean toilets everywhere, as well as a lane to come and go. There are parking spaces right in front of the door.

The food was delicious, came out pretty quickly on beautiful new dishes. Suitable for Greece, I think. The service was (despite Corona) friendly and very good. Here the price-performance ratio is very good. This is not the last time I have dined here.

It is simply the best Greek in the world 😊. And I've never made it to eat. So the next day you still have a lot of it.

Well, the food wasn't bad in taste. BUT, the portions were way too big. Nobody at our table could eat even half of these portions. Many guests had the rest wrapped up. Unfortunately, most of it remained on the plates. As I said, it tastes good, but way too much.

The waiters are very nice and the location on the beach is great. Unfortunately the food was not so perfect. The portions are XL size and even without a starter you can't pack. We had gyros special pan and gyros with wine sauce and cheese. The gyros was dry and somehow tasted good. Half the pan would have done it. Take it with you or during Corona to pack it yourself for 1 € extra.

Addendum to my last visit a year ago. The food was again delicious and the view of the sea tops it all off. But since pictures say louder than words, take a look for yourself. For my part, I will definitely be back when I'm in the area !!!

Nice location right on the promenade with a view of the sea. Nice service. Eat a typical Greek snack ... tasty but very simple. However, the portions are oversized. We took the rest home and had a 2nd full meal. The price-performance ratio is more than fair here.

Well, I know some Greek restaurants, BUT this one is "unique" in a way: You get a lot on your plate so you can take something home with you. And personally I think that's very good in today's world. By the way .......... it also tastes very good and is not too expensive in my opinion.

This is a super Greek! Perfect location on the beach with a view of the water, cozy and authentic decor and the best part - the quality of the food. Absolutely excellent and very plentiful. One grill plate is enough for two people and extremely fair prices.

Just great. Everything is right here. From service to hygiene to price. We ate excelent. Unfortunately the portions were too much for us, but it was delicious.

The food was delicious, it's a very nice restaurant. Really stylish and you feel like you're on vacation. One point deduction for their packaging package if you want to take the rest of your food with you. Asking money for it is very cheeky. Either you throw away the rest of the food or you pay extra money for the packaging. Huh?!? Please reconsider your concept !!!!

Taverna Kreta Very nice Restaurant in Eckernförde. Its better you order a table, because good restaurant result very full. Nice view of eckernförde bay (sea & beach) Food very good Start with salat The main menu very good and much ( I will say very much to eat) nice taste. You can order softdrinks or beer or different wine. All good combination and good price. Restaurant in greek still.

Excellent restaurant, very friendly fast service. The portions are huge in size so do not worry about getting enough. We had two children's meals and two main meals and couldn't eat it all. Very busy every night so book a table.

We have been there but the restaurant was to full so we had to take takeaway. While I was waiting for my order I got a delicious wine and Ouzo. I ordered Gyros for the whole family (4). It was amazing!! I really recommend this place!

Very large portions. We usually eat 2 days on the plate for 4 persons. Very tasty but also expensive.

The best greek on the baltic nice service super comfortable and well made shop. Everything delicious and not expensive for everything 5 star. For 4 people 70 € and full. Toll.😁
